Mary Jemison Statue

This is Mary Jemison, the “White Woman of the Genessee”. She lived in what is now Letchworth State Park, where this statue is located. As a young girl, her farm was raided by Indians. She was taken captive and ended up spending the rest of her life among several tribes. For more information, read one of these books or this website.

    I’m not sure but most statues are 3D. Otherwise they would be called a picture. lol

      Lol. Yes, statues are 3D. What I meant was that I did a tweak on the 2nd photo that is supposed to make it look like the statue is “popping out of” the screen.
